New Writers

We commission many books each year, and always need hard working writers looking to break into the book world. Working alongside an experienced senior writer, editor and marketing planner, we develop full length non-fiction and genre fiction titles.

We offer an equal split of royalties from joint projects, and look to develop long term income streams with our writing partnerships. Each book is from 40,000 to 60,000 words on average, generally airport paperback size and optimised for digital readers.

If you are an amateur or freelance writer who wants to break into publishing, we’d like to hear from you. We constantly invest in new commissioned books, and we are always looking for new writers. Working to develop both your writing craft, and work for publication, we nurture our authors over the long term.

Your writing must be of the highest standards. The majority of our writers have first class English, creative writing or journalism degrees or considerable commercial experience. If you haven’t managed to complete a novel, or have no real experience, we are unlikely to be able to help you.

We are only looking for:

• Faultless abilities in English using a good selection of styles.
• Organised, enthusiastic and consistent output.
• Willingness to learn about the market.
• Writers who can commit to producing a full length manuscript within 3 months.
